EverGrain is a recently launched sustainable ingredient company supported by Anheuser-Busch InBev, which is introducing sustainable and innovative plant-based protein and fiber ingredients produced from barley.
EverGrain uses saved grains from brewing and then through a proprietary manner, transforms the circularly sourced barley into nutrient-rich ingredients that can be utilized for a variety of food and beverage purposes. This process was produced beyond five years of accurate research and advancement.
“Our unique barley ingredients will transform plant-based products, delivering better tasting and more nutritious options to consumers who seek a healthier and more sustainable future,” said CEO and Founder of EverGrain, Greg Belt, in a press release statement. “EverGrain’s innovative and circular approach, which we’ve honed over the past five years, offers a scalable, local and reliable solution for the global food industry to help address the world’s food security and sustainability challenges.”
Plant-based foods are one of the fastest-growing classes in the global food industry which are supported by one of the world’s leading breweries. EverGrain will be capable to maintain this increasing demand by giving a scalable, consistent, and stable supply of its ingredients.
EverGrain is initiating two product lines: EverPro and EverVita. EverPro is a completely soluble protein isolate that is presently being formed in multiple plant-based protein products, that include beverages, protein bars, and snacks.
