Major Logistics Company, FedEx Express has signed a new partnership deal with UEFA for the next year’s UEFA Euro 2020 tournament.
FedEx express will cater as the official logistics partner of the next year’s global tournament with the direct effect of the agreement with the UEFA Europa League.
In a four year running partnership, FedEx will be entitled with several rights including in-Stadium branding, ticketing rights and hospitality across 400 matches to be played in 55 countries.
Being an integral part of the new agreement, FedEx Express will come forth to support the delivery of Euro 2020, which is going to be staged in 12 hosting cities across the continent.
Wouter Roels, Senior Vice-President of International Marketing at FedEx Express said,” “Our commitment to European football is a central part of our community and commercial strategy here in Europe,”
“Today’s sponsorship announcement is particularly exciting, since being the official logistics partner for UEFA Euro 2020 allows us to actually help deliver the competition across multiple European locations, demonstrating the power of Europe’s premier logistics business, our values and the possibilities we create.”
FedEx Express is already a sponsor of the UEFA Europa League club tournament under a three-year deal announced last September.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director of UEFA Events, added: “FedEx Express has proven over the years as a trusted and valued sponsor of the UEFA Europa League that they have extensive logistics capabilities throughout the continent.”
