Malkovich has nearly two decades of experience in senior management roles in hospitality and healthcare, working for private equity-backed groups as well as profit and non-profit organizations. After graduating from Arizona State University, Malkovich spent two years in Washington, DC as a senatorial aide. He then returned to Arizona to pursue his true passion—health and fitness—spending the next 12 years with Firebird Co., where he ultimately became CEO for their Mountainside Fitness, Core Concepts, and Fit Republic divisions. During his tenure, Malkovich drove the growth and repositioning of these businesses, overseeing site acquisitions, construction, and the strategic direction for sales and marketing. After leaving Firebird Co. in 2014, Malkovich spent two years managing 28 high-performance schools for Great Hearts of America, a network of tuition-free, in-person, and online public schools dedicated to improving education nationwide. He is currently Chief Operating Officer of RISE Services, overseeing multi-site, multi-state operations for a portfolio of companies in healthcare, technology, and real estate, with more than 4,000 employees across 150 locations.
