Former Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag launched his brand called VS, the initials of his name. The brand has been designed to cater to the need of sports enthusiasts and gym goers.

The World of Viru Private Limited, a company owned by Virender Sehwag will run the operation of the brand. The brand is consorting with retail giant Amazon to sell its product online. Apart from the Amazon, customers can find its product on thesouledstore.com.

Initially, the company has launched a set of t-shirts, caps, ball, gym bags. In the wake of ICC World Cup, a set of world cup themed merchandise also have been launched in partnership with The Souled Store. The company is also thinking about introducing cricket gears in an affordable price.

The vice president of The World of Viru Private Limited said, “We felt a majority of Indians are compelled to opt for substandard, copied sportswear as they find the branded quality stuff beyond their reach. The World of Viru was launched with a thought and commitment to serve fans who need quality sportswear and sports gear at affordable prices.”

Despite having a fully dedicated professional team, Virender Sehwag assured he would not let the philosophy behind the brand get compromised.
