While Vitruvian’s innovative resistance training platform Vitruvian Trainer+ has become a cult home fitness go-to work out, the tech-savvy brand hasn’t stopped there. Following strong demand and sales in gyms and clubs, now the Perth founded business has unveiled its new commercial-grade offering.
Vitruvian has always been about meeting people where they want to train and the Trainer+ was never conceived as a “home fitness device” but rather an upgrade to metal weights and sectorised machines, as software driven weight unlocks more possibilities than metal could ever do.
“It’s clear that connected fitness products are changing the game not only at home but also in tech-forward gyms and facilities,” says Jon Gregory, Vitruvian founder. “Not only do they take up less space than traditional gym equipment, but they are customisable in ways we couldn’t have even imagined a decade ago.”
TrainerX and VFrame made thier US debut at IHRSA in San Diego on the 21st and 22nd March to wide acclaim with industry professionals.
The TrainerX offers the same advanced AI technology as the original version, including the ability to adjust the weight to individual users in real time (loading and deloading the optimal resistance), with the addition of new commercial-minded modes and a user experience that allows for fast switching.
Sporting a compact size (just over a metre long and 115mm thick), the Vitruvian TrainerX is also incredibly durable. The extruded aluminium frame features a tough powder-coated finish that’s built for commercial use. The VFrame turns the TrainerX or Trainer+ into a fully-functional smart home cable machine with an extended platform that allows for a greater range of movements.
The company is currently taking expressions of interest as there is a significant waitlist for the new products already.
