Putting an end to the much awaited sleek fold-able treadmill, Xiaomi has decided to land its Smart Mini treadmill-WalkingPad Mini on sale for the western world market through Kickstarter this September or Early Next month with a price tag of $499(Approximately 35,000 INR).
The online merchant Kickstarter has already hosted the ‘WalkingPad’ as in their coming soon categorized product’s tab.
According to GizmoChina, Xiaomi has launched the WalkingPad mini Treadmill in China through its Youpin crowdfunding platform in May this year at a price tag of RMB1, 699(around 17,000 INR). Owing to its compact design and sleek model, the Treadmill is a perfect option for small apartments.
Devoid of huge controlling bars and sophiscated monitor system like other traditional treadmills, WalkingPad comes with a dimension of 1200x415mm which can be easily folded and can be put under the bed.
Talking about its seamless designing, the fold-able WalkingPad has a sleek metal finishing well blended by aluminum alloy body and high density material.
The offered treadmill weighs 28 kg and retains a tenacity of 110 kilograms.
The whole OS of the treadmill is mobile controllable, as one can keep a precise control over it with their mobile sets or a small remote control. As there is no massive chambers mounted on the body of the treadmill, buttons are not there to function. Despite the fact, users can take the help of LED displays which shows pertinent exercise data.
The walking pad can attain a speed of 0.5-6 km/h. in addition to this, there are two modes of handling given to the machine- Manual and Automatic.
The manual mode let one to adjust speed using handheld remote control while the automatic mode synchronies with the to and fro motion of the users on the effective running are of the belt. As the runner moves ahead, the machine accelerates while the machine slows down when the user come at the rear end of the belt.
