Spanish midfielder, Xisco Hernandez signs with Delhi Dynamos. One of the key members of the Bengaluru FC’s title-winning squad, Xisco scored one goal and had five assists last season, in the 20 matches that he played for the club.

The 29-year old winger comes in with a bag full of experience, having played most of his career in the Spanish Segunda Division B. The Indian Super league Season 5 was his first stint outside Spain, and he managed to create quite an impact with his first season, with Bengaluru FC.

Rohan Sharma, the director of Delhi Dynamos said on Xisco arrival in the club, “I am very happy to welcome Xisco to Dehi. He had a very successful stint at his previous club which caught our eye. He was one of the top goal makers in the Indian upper League, which is something we need at DDFC. We hope that this experience and leadership can also lead Delhi to win the league this year.”

The coach of Dynamos said, “As a coach, I am so happy to have him in my squad. He is a player who will bring a lot to us, both inside and outside the field. He is a player who is familiar with India and more importantly, he has won ISL. I think he is a very good addition to the team.”

Xisco Hernandez reacted at his addition to Delhi Dynamos, “I am happy to be back in India after a successful first season outside of Spain. Coach Gambau has vested immense trust in me and I am very sure that I will be able to deliver as per his expectation. Delhi has a very young squad and I see a lot of potential in the team. Once again, really happy to join Delhi Dynamos and I can’t wait to roar.”
