Liverpool FC is about to a sign a huge deal with Nike. The deal will probably be the biggest in the history of Premier league history.

The current sponsor of Liverpool FC is New Balance. But their agreement will come to end by the end of this season. According to news report by Forbes, the club is almost on board with Nike to seal the historic deal.

English soccer will probably see its most expensive deal and it would eclipse Manchester United’s 91 million per year agreement with Adidas.

The deal would also be the third highest in world soccer, behind only FC Barcelona, which has a 122 million per year agreement with Nike, and Real Madrid, which extended its deal with Adidas earlier this year.

Madrid signed a massive 1.2 billion deal with Adidas in May- 134 million per annum- but the figure could rise to as much as 170 million after merchandising, according Goal.

Nike is already the official kit supplier of Brighton and Hove Albion. They relationship with American sportswear go back to as far as 2014. Another EPL clubs like Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur signed deal with Nike at the beginning of 2017-18 season.

Chelsea called off their deal with Adidas six years early to sign a 15 years contract with Nike for 73 million per year.

Liverpool is next in action on Saturday when the UEFA Champions League winner takes on Unai Emery’s Arsenal FC at Premier League Match.
