Since the sports betting has been legalized in America, different sports bodies and governments are flocking to tap the market. NBA’s ‘NBA Last 90’ is the latest addition in that list. They are launching a virtual sports betting game featuring NBS highlights and footages.

In this venture, NBA, National Basketball Players Association and Highlight Games Limited, a London-based specialist games supplier are working hand in hand to create ‘NBA Last 90’.

The game allows contestants to make various wagers of the final 90 seconds of a stimulated match up between two NBA teams, such as who will score on the first possessions and the total number of points scored by both teams.

“NBA last 90” will debut in US and European gaming and lottery markets next season and will be distributed to licensed gaming operations in both regions.

With this initiative, the NBA will become the first major US Sports league to enter the virtual sports betting market, which is growing in popularity in Europe.

Scott Kaufman-Ross, the head of fantasy and gaming in NBA commented on the development, “We have been looking at this past couple of years and were really surprised to see how popular this was. In Europe, we are especially excited about using virtual as another way to engage with our fans with alternative content, especially given the time-zone channels we have in the regions.
